BMA makes it easy for public to say thank you to doctors

The BMA has set up ways for the public to donate or send a message of gratitude to doctors who continue to work tirelessly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The BMA launched a fundraising page in March in response to the requests we were receiving from members of the public wanting to show their appreciation to doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We kick-started the fund with a £50,000 donation and are working with the charity Heroes, to ensure all the donations we receive are directed to doctor and medical student focused charities which align with the BMA's mission: “We look after doctors so they can look after you”.
