About this event

This one day conference is available to all doctors working in secure or forensic environments, whether as a prison GP, SARC examiner, forensic psychiatrist, physician or pathologist. This event will provide a forum for you to meet colleagues, discuss current issues and areas for development, share resources and develop your network.  

 

What to expect from this event

Hear presentations from experts and get your questions on key issues answered, including:

  • improving survivor experience in SARCs
  • preventing self-harm in prisons
  • cultural identity and imprisonment
  • health and wellbeing for prison healthcare staff
  • panel session on improving secure medicine.

We encourage in-person attendance to make the most of the opportunity to meet colleagues. For those who are unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live via MS Teams. Please note that the event will not be recorded.
