What to expect from this event
The BMA Retired Members Conference is an annual hybrid event that brings together retired doctors to shape policy and discuss key issues affecting senior professionals. Led by the Retired Members Committee, the conference features live debates and voting on member-submitted motions, which can directly influence wider BMA policy and feed into the Annual Representative Meeting (ARM).

What to expect from this event
Attendees participating either in person at BMA House in London or remotely via MS Teams also vote in vital committee elections to choose their representatives for the upcoming year.
Elections
Conference will elect representatives to the 2027 Annual Representative Meeting (ARM) and to the Retired Members Committee. Further details are to follow.
Eligibility
To be eligible to attend you must be recorded on the membership database as being permanently and predominantly retired from all medical practice.
