About this event

With courts increasingly scrutinising the conduct of expert witnesses, it is essential they fully understand their duties and the procedural rules that apply when acting in civil law proceedings (i.e. Part 35, Practice Direction 35 and ‘the Guidance’). Also, experts in civil cases are required to sign declarations in their reports confirming compliance with their duties and an awareness of the rules – so it is critical they possess this knowledge.
