The tables below list the basic pay scales for junior doctors in Northern Ireland.

The DDRB (Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration Body) recommended a 2.8% pay uplift for the 2020/21 financial year, however the Department of Health has yet to approve the uplift for doctors in Northern Ireland. We are continuing to lobby the department on this and will update members on any developments.
