A one-day conference for all defence medical services doctors and cadets and Ministry of Defence GPs and consultants, covering topical issues for the armed forces.

The conference will offer separate streams for MoD and armed forces doctors, giving an opportunity to focus on key issues for different groups. You will be able to put your questions to expert speakers, discuss and consider a range of topical issues that matter to you, and network with colleagues from all services.

  • Presentations on Defence Engagement (Health), Service Complaints Guidance, and the challenges of preparing for medical support during warfighting at scale

  • Specific sessions on pensions and BMA support for armed forces and MoD doctors

Who can attend?

All Defence Medical Services doctors, both regular and reserve officers, MoD doctors and medical cadets are invited to attend the conference.

CPD accreditation has been applied for.

 

Networking reception

The conference is followed by an optional informal networking reception until 6pm.
