What to expect from this event

This year, our conference will focus on the theme of “Transformation/New beginnings”, which resonates deeply with those navigating the transition from a life of clinical practice to new and personally meaningful chapters. We want to emphasise that we are more than our identity as doctors, and that retirement marks the beginning of new opportunities for growth, as well as providing a platform for discussing issues that are important to retired members

Join us to:

  • Debate and shape policy: Take part in discussions that influence BMA policy and drive change across the profession.
  • Network and share: Meet fellow retired doctors and representatives from across the BMA branches of practice with diverse experiences that are invaluable to our community.
  • Policy Updates and reports: Stay informed with updates on local activist structures, committee reports, and plans for the 2026 Annual Representative Meeting in June.

Be inspired for the future: Listen to our guest speakers and BMA leaders engage with the topic of New Beginnings and Transformations.
