Commenting on the Department of Health's publication of the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) Information for 2022/23, Chair of BMA’s Northern Ireland general practitioners committee, Dr Alan Stout, said: “This is a clear good news story during a time when the NHS is under so much pressure.
“Despite the removal of targets, this gives clear evidence that practices continue to deliver excellent care and prioritise those that need it most, particularly our most vulnerable. This is key to alleviating the demand on our whole health service and our GPs and our practices needed to be trusted and supported to deliver the care that is needed.”
