On Monday 29 January, the BMA will open a referendum to SAS members in England. Doctors will be asked to vote online to accept or reject an offer from Government.

The offer follows months of talks, and an intense period of balloting members on industrial action.

The BMA’s SAS committee has agreed to present this offer to members, so they can decide whether it is good enough to end the dispute.

But what is the offer? What impact would it have on you? How can you have your say on it? And if the offer is rejected, what will happen next?

To answer these and any other questions you may have, the BMA SAS committee has set up a series of free webinars, open to all SAS doctors in England (both members and non-members).

These online events will include a short presentation, followed by a Q&A where doctors can put any questions they have to members of the committee.

In the meantime, SAS doctors can read a summary of the offer, and our FAQs, or send their questions to [email protected].
