The BMA’s EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) advisory group is calling for expressions of interest for membership for the 2018/19 session.
It provides expert advice and guidance on all matters relating to EDI work at the BMA.
Group members offer in-depth knowledge of and experience in a range of EDI issues and help to shape the association’s work on EDI for members, staff and the medical workforce.
It is chaired by BMA representative body chair Anthea Mowat.
Those interested in becoming a member of the group should send their expressions of interest by email to BMA head of corporate activity and EDI Yasemin Dil, outlining why they would like to be a part of the group, their experiences in EDI and how they meet the skills required as described in the role profile. The deadline is 6 August 2018 at noon.
