Junior doctors are being urged to help shape the future of their profession by attending a conference for trainees.
All doctors in training are invited to the BMA junior doctors conference, on Saturday, May 17 at BMA House, London, with an event for new attendees the day before.
The free conference gives trainees the opportunity to help determine the year’s priorities for the BMA junior doctors committee.
Conference chair Latifa Patel (pictured above) said: ‘It is a very significant time for junior doctors with negotiations taking place that will affect each and every one of us, from our contracts to our training and workforce planning.
‘I really don’t think any of us can afford to shy away from these issues.
‘It is so important to have your say on the changes that will inevitably shape your future and the junior doctors conference is your opportunity to do this.’
