Doctors have just days left to finalise their applications for BMA research grants.
The BMA makes awards totalling £500,000 each year, with applications invited from medical practitioners and research scientists, for research in progress or prospective research.
The money awarded through the grants comes from legacies left to the BMA for research purposes.
For 2013, 10 grants are on offer, to fund subject areas ranging from rheumatism to neurological disorders.
For more information on this year’s grants, details of how to apply, the terms and conditions and guidance on the application process, visit bma.org.uk/researchgrants
The application deadline is 5pm on March 15.
