About this webinar

On Monday 6 November, a ballot for industrial action opened, asking SAS doctors whether they would be willing to strike to improve their pay, career prospects and working conditions.

We realise SAS doctors may have questions: why has the BMA been left with no choice but to take this step? How does balloting and industrial action work? What has happened to SAS pay? And, importantly, why is it we think you should vote yes?

In order to provide answers, the BMA SAS committee has set up a series of free webinars, open to all SAS doctors in England (both members and non-members).

These online events will include a short presentation to explain the background of the ballot, followed by a Q&A where participants can put any questions they have to members of the committee.
