BMA House offers impressive facilities in a fantastic central London location. The information below is for external visitors and members to help you plan your visit.
Lockers and storage
Locker facilities and storage are available to those visiting BMA House.
All keys must be returned to Reception or to Security at the end of the day.
Please note we are not able to store large items such as bikes, although there are secure bike racks for use on site, access for these will be through the main security lodge.
Regrettably folding bikes are not able to be stored within BMA House.
They can be carried with you or left in the bike shed. A bike lock is available from the security lodge if required.
Health and safety
Please note the fire alarm is tested every Monday morning at 11am. If you hear the alarm at any other time please evacuate the building through the nearest exit which will be clearly signed.
A safe working environment is provided within BMA House and all visitors, members and their guests are requested to co-operate in the maintenance of the high standard of safe practice.
In the event of injury or illness please contact Security at the main lodge.

BMA restaurant and garden café
The BMA restaurant serves a range of hot and cold breakfast items, hot lunches, a salad bar, deli bar and an array of snacks and drinks.
BMA restaurant opening hours: 8.30am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.
The garden café is available to vBMA members and their guests, BMA and BMJ staff, BMA House tenants, and external visitors.
The garden café serves a variety of breakfast items, soups, salads and sandwiches and a selection of cakes and snacks.
A full barista coffee service is available alongside a choice of other hot and cold drinks.
BMA café opening hours: 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
We politely request that you dress in a manner which is in accordance with the surroundings at BMA House.
Please note photography and videography is not allowed without prior approval.
Showers are available for use and are located just opposite the Hastings Room.
BMA House is a non smoking building; this includes the courtyard and garden.
Visiting BMA House as a member
At BMA House we have excellent facilities on offer that members can enjoy including our Members Lounge - the Hastings Room, the Library, the BMA Restaurant and the Garden Café.
Members are welcome at BMA House to use the facilities, meet their colleagues and attend our events.
Members are able to use locker facilities for the day whilst visiting BMA House. Locker keys will be issued to members who have valid membership cards on a daily basis.
The Hastings Room
The Hastings Room is a quiet lounge for members to relax. To help maintain a pleasurable atmosphere for all, please keep any noise or discussion to a minimum and respect the facilities on offer so that all users may enjoy the lounge. We politely ask you not to eat in the Hastings Room.
The business centre in the Hastings Room
The Hastings Room offers three PCs (personal computers) with complimentary access for members to use. More PCs and printing facilities are available in the library. To log onto wi-fi please follow the instructions near the PCs.
The Hastings Room is open Monday to Friday from 8am till 8pm, catering services are provided between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Please note cups and glasses are not to be removed from the Hastings Room.
The BMA Library is open to all members and offers a range of services.
The library is open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
