LNCs are key to improving the working environment for doctors and this event aims to support LNC leaders in this vital work.
LNC chairs, or a deputy if they are unable to attend, are invited to attend this one-day conference, aimed at providing information and support.
Registration
Registration will open from 9.30am with the conference starting at 10am, the event closes at 4.30pm.
The conference is free of charge for LNC chairs or their nominated representatives to attend, but you must book your place in advance. You must be a current BMA member to attend this event.
What you will learn
On the day we will be:
- Hearing the latest campaign developments
- Developing toolkits for working effectively against discrimination in the workplace
- Discussing current issues for LNCs including rate cards, maintaining high professional standards and activism training
- Updating you on how the BMA can support you in your LNC role

Expenses
The BMA will meet your reasonable travel expenses to attend this conference: in order to reduce costs to the Association, please would you make your travel arrangements as soon as possible, taking advantage of cheaper fares. Please note that standard class train fares will be paid for journeys of up to 90 minutes each way, with first class fares payable for longer journeys.
