Securing a healthier future for Northern Ireland
The decisions made by the Northern Ireland Assembly, elected in May 2016, will have profound implications for health and social care in Northern Ireland. We know that change needs to happen in the health service and that difficult decisions lie ahead.
The BMA in Northern Ireland wants every part of the health system to be properly funded and appropriately staffed with members able to deliver the best possible care for patients.
We believe that taking action on the six priorities laid out in our manifesto will help meet the challenges that we face.
