How we work with the Northern Ireland Assembly

We ensure your voice is heard at Stormont. We make certain your expertise and knowledge is taken into account by policymakers at the heart of government.

Members of the legislative assembly regularly refer to BMA(Northern Ireland) policy during debates, and our representatives are often asked to give evidence to statutory committees.

We are on hand to:

  • Promote and defend our members' rights and interests in the Northern Ireland Assembly
  • Keep politicians of all parties informed of our policy developments and new ideas
  • Coordinate the submission of written and oral evidence to statutory committee inquiries and meetings with politicians and all party groups.

Working for you
