The JMF is a free conference, which takes place in informal surroundings over a weekend, and gives you the chance to be heard on the matters that are important to you.
The forum provides a unique opportunity for junior members to get involved with the BMA, with the content of the weekend shaped by the issues important to attendees and sometimes going on to guide future work of the organisation and become BMA policy.
The weekend features speeches from medico-political leaders, with plenty of opportunity to network with other junior members, as well as senior BMA leaders from all branches of practice, debating issues relevant to junior members.
Each year the JMF elect an executive committee to organise the conference, ensuring it remains relevant to the membership, with several delegates elected to represent the forum at the ARM.
