Elizabeth Robinson (locum)

Dr Robinson has been a GP locum, a partner, a retainer, a medical director in a health authority, a partner again and is now a GP locum. She has practised in Bristol, London and Cambridge.

East Midlands

Vijoy Kumar Singh (locum)

Dr Singh has been a locum GP in Leicester since retiring as a GP principal in 2009. He has represented the East Midlands on the sessional GPs committee since 2010. He served as Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland LMC chair from 2002 until 2009.

Bashir Qureshi (locum)

Dr Qureshi is a locum GP in London. He is a member of the Royal College of GPs council, a member of Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham and Hounslow LMC, and  vice president of the Royal Society of Medicine's GP and primary health care section. Dr Qureshi has been a committee member since 1999.

Victoria Weeks (salaried) - Chair

Dr Weeks is a salaried GP in North West London. She has practised over the past 28 years as a partner, retainer scheme GP and locum. Vicky is also on Ealing, Hammersmith and Hounslow LMC and is a medical director for GP Support Services Londonwide LMCs.

Paula Wright (salaried)

Dr Wright is currently a salaried GP, GP tutor for Newcastle and Northern deanery and Health Education North East lead for sessional GPs. She is a GP appraiser, and chair of North East sessional GPs.

Malcolm Kendrick (salaried)

Dr Kendrick works as a GP in Cheshire. He graduated in medicine from Aberdeen University, then worked as a partner in rural Scotland for ten years, before moving into medical education. Dr Kendrick is now working part time in intermediate care and does regular locum GP work.

Northern Ireland

Carla Devlin (locum)

Dr Devlin is Northern Ireland's sessional GPs representative on the sessional GPs committee and Northern Ireland GPs committee. She took up the position in 2011, and works as a full-time locum GP, out-of-hours GP and a tutor at Queen's University Belfast.

Mary Anne Burrow

Dr Burrow is a Scottish portfolio GP. She has been a retainee, salaried partner, GP locum and a salaried and sessional GP. She is also a Forth Valley LMC director and a Glasgow University GP tutor.

Mary O’Brien

Dr O'Brien has been a Scottish sessional GP representative since 2010, having been a sessional GP for 11 years. She is also medical secretary for an LMC in Scotland, a member of the Scottish GPs committee and Scottish LMC conference deputy chair.

Felicity Shaw (locum)

Dr Shaw has spent time during her career as a partner and sessional GP, stating she has seen 'the advantages and disadvantages of both roles'. She has previously served on her LMC, and was a Wessex LMC Medical Director for three years.

Sarah Dunkley (salaried)

Dr Dunkley is a new member of the sessional GPs committee. She says she hopes to 'advocate for all sessionals, however they work, in a rapidly changing NHS and in other health care settings'.

Mark Selman (salaried)

Dr Selman is a salaried GP and locum based in Exeter. He has been a member of the BMA GPs committee and the sessional GPs committee for 13 years. He is also a member of the Devon LMC board and Devon County LMC subcommittee deputy chair.

Stephen Bassett (locum)

Dr Bassett is a locum GP in Swansea. He is a member of GPC Wales, GPC UK and Morgannwg LMC and also works as a GP appraiser. He is a qualified barrister and sits on the BMA medico-legal committee.

Faisel Baig

Dr Baig is a locum GP based in North and North East Lincolnshire. He is a tutor, examiner and interviewer at the University of Sheffield Medical School.
