Northern Ireland General Practitioners Committee meetings

We hold four scheduled meetings a year to discuss the latest issues affecting general practitioners in Northern Ireland.

Who can attend

Only members of the Northern Ireland general practitioners committee (NIGPC) may participate in votes on NIGPC business, however general practitioners who are BMA members are welcome to attend in a non-voting capacity as part of the BMA committee visitor scheme.

We have cross-representation with the Northern Ireland medical student, junior doctor, staff & associate specialist, consultant and medical academic dental committees.

We also have cross representation with the UK general practitioners committee.

Discussion and debate range widely over terms and conditions of service, clinical and professional matters, regulation and BMA issues.
