We have compiled official guidance and information sources for doctors on the Coronavirus (COVID-19):

The challenges presented by Coronavirus are likely to lead to a busy and stressful period for doctors. The BMA offers confidential Wellbeing support services 24/7, free of charge to all doctors and medical students – call 0330 123 1245.

Immigration status

The Home Office has produced guidance for those impacted by Coronavirus.

If you think your immigration status may be affected by the outbreak, you should refer to the Home Office guidance or call the Coronavirus helpline. You should check the guidance regularly as given the fast moving nature of the pandemic, it may be subject to change.

The BMA and RCGP have produced action cards for staff members in general practice.

 

Further learning

BMA members and non-members can access free BMJ learning resources about COVID-19.

BMA members can access the BMJ Best Practice on COVID-19 for free.

The BMJ has produced a visual summary of responding to COVID-19 for primary care.

Royal College of the Surgeons of Edinburgh has developed a free online learning hub for healthcare staff in the UK and internationally on the principles and practice of critical care for patients during COVID-19.

Health Education England has developed an e-learning package of clinical resources on COVID-19 that can be accessed by healthcare workers in the UK and worldwide.
