Support schemes for you

Audience at Public Health Conference 2016

Our committee structures must be representative of our wider membership, and of the diverse medical workforce. We are committed to encouraging active participation from all our members.

We have a range of initiatives aimed at helping you to fully participate, gain confidence and develop in your role and making the committee system more accessible.

Elected members induction pack

At the start of every session, we provide an induction pack to every committee member. The pack contains information on how your committee works and the most up to date versions of our policies.

BMA leadership programme

This programme is a free one day CPD accredited programme, which is dedicated to inspiring positive leadership values within the BMA and enabling committee members to lead more effectively.

The sessions are delivered by an external facilitator and take place throughout the year at our offices in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
