Our Opening Times for the two upcoming May Bank Holidays

If you are planning on visiting us in May please note that the only change to our normal opening hours is that we will be closed on both of the Bank Holiday Mondays - 2 May 2016 & 30 May 2016. (PDF of our Opening Times for the two May Bank Holidays.)

New way to browse our E-Journals Collection

Our E-Journals Collection, which is accessible to all BMA Members and includes the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, JAMA, The Lancet, Medical Teacher and Nature, can now also be browsed via medical specialties.

Dissertation and Research Services (BMA Members only)

Let us help you by finding the articles that you need to complete your work with free database searches covering Medline, Embase, PsycINFO and HMIC. Or we can train you in searching skills so you can benefit from the wide range of information available to you.

Quick and Simple access to our E-Books Collection

Our E-Books collection can be accessed via either our online catalogue or the pages on the BMA website that list selections of titles suitable for Medical StudentsJunior Doctors and General Practitioners, as well as key titles in each medical specialty. Both of these routes now just require you to log in with your BMA website username and password. You no longer need to have a separate Dawsonera username and password.

Selected Weekend Opening of the Library in May

The next weekend when we will be open is Saturday, 21 May 2016 and Sunday, 22 May 2016. We will be open from 10am to 4pm on both days.

About the BMA library

The BMA library is available to all BMA members. Visitors may be asked to show a valid BMA membership card when using the library.

Members of the public and students may purchase a day pass.

Wed & Thu: 9am to 7pm
