The World Medical Association (WMA) is proud to support the 2008 BMA-AMA-CMA International Conference on Doctors’ Health. As an international organisation with 85 Medical Associations from all over the world as its constituent members, the organisation was created to ensure the independence of doctors and to work for the highest standards of medical care for all people, at all times.
Patient health matters to us, and so does doctors’ health. Doctors’ health is a pre-requisite to patient care, and healthy lifestyles and habits give good examples to our communities. The WMA offers its support to doctors, to this conference, and to Positive Practice Environments: Health care environments should be healthy environments in the first place!
