Junior doctors protest in London
March 2007
Thousands of junior doctors attended protests in London and Glasgow on Saturday (17 March) to express their anger with MTAS (the Medical Training Application Service).
The march in London and rally in Glasgow were organised by RemedyUK with the support of the BMA, and demonstrate the mounting pressure on the government to come up with an adequate solution to problems with the system. Trainee doctors were joined by consultants, GPs, politicians, and other healthcare professionals.
