GP returners: Letter to strategic health authorities (SHAs) and primary care trusts (PCTs)

The General Practitioners Committee (GPC) and the Committee of GP Education Directors (COGPED) have written jointly to all SHAs and PCTs in England. This highlights the need to ensure that GPs wishing to return are not hindered unnecessarily from so doing. It also notes the need to assess GP returners individually, and the implications of the national minimum wage legislation.
