A charity that provides advice and support and a sign-posting service direct to relevant sources of further information.

RADAR: The disability network
RADAR is a network of disability organisations and disabled people. It campaigns to promote equality for all disabled people, both independently and with policy-makers and legislators in Government.

Skill: national bureau for students with disabilities
A national charity that promotes opportunities for disabled people in accessing learning and entry to employment.

Doctor’s Support Network
The Doctor’s Support Network seeks to reduce the isolation and stigma associated with mental health concerns. It aims to complement other sources of support available to doctors and fills a gap not otherwise catered for.

Healthcare for all: report of the independent inquiry into access to healthcare for people with learning disabilities
This Inquiry, chaired by Sir Jonathan Michael, investigated the action needed to ensure that people with learning disabilities receive appropriate treatment in the NHS.
