Association of Medical Professionals with Hearing Losses
provides information, promotes advocacy and mentorship, and creates a network for individuals with hearing loss interested in or working in health care fields.

British Doctors and Dentists Group
is a support group for recovering alcoholic and drug dependent doctors and dentists, and students.

British Medical Associaiton 24-hour stress counselling service for doctors and Doctors for Doctors Unit
run by professional counsellors this service provides help for BMA members and their families on personal, emotional and work-related problems. This service is also available to BMA medical student members. It is strictly confidential and callers can remain anonymous if they wish. The counselling service can be accessed 24 hours a day on 08459 200169. All calls are charged at local rates. The Doctors for doctors Unit is an enhancement of the counselling service allowing doctors in distress or difficulty the choice of speaking in confidence to another doctor. The doctor advisers work to help enquirers to take a holistic approach to their situation, to gain insight into their problems as well as getting support and help.

Doctor's Supportline
is an independent, confidential and anonymous service, that is staffed by volunteer doctors to provide peer support for doctors and medical students in the UK.

Doctors’ Support Network
is a self-help group for doctors with mental health concerns. The group believes that contact with and support from other doctors can help recovery and it seeks to reduce the isolation and stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Hope for Disabled Doctors
offers support to disabled doctors and provides a sign-posting service to relevant services and advice.

The Royal Medical Benevolent Fund
was set up by doctors to help colleagues and their dependants in need. Support available ranges from specialist information and advice to financial assistance.

The Royal Medical Foundation
exists to support medical practitioners and/or their dependents who find themselves in financial hardship.

Sick Doctors' Trust
provides early intervention and treatment for doctors suffering from addiction to alcohol or other drugs, thus protecting patients while offering hope, recovery and rehabilitation to affected colleagues and their families. Facilitates admission to appropriate treatment centres and introduction to support groups.

Support 4 Doctors
is a Royal Medical Benevolent Fund project that aims to put doctors and their families in touch with a range of organisations who can help with various challenges including career, health or financial issues.
