Background
The NHS Next Stage Review, ‘Our NHS, Our Future’, was announced in July 2007 and was a wide-ranging review of the NHS in England, both at a local and national level. It was led by Lord Darzi, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department of Health.
