Mobile phones and health: an interim report

British Medical Association
Board of Science and Education
2001
There are now about 40 million mobile phone users in the UK and concerns have been raised that the use of this technology has increased dramatically without enough understanding of the possible adverse health effects of the electromagnetic fields produced by the phones and their base stations.

This interim report summarises ongoing research and the current knowledge about mobile phones and public health.
