Document supply service for non-members
The BMA library offers a copy service to members of the public. (BMA members, Institutes and BMA/BMJ staff should go to the order services pages here).
We can supply one copy of an article per issue from any journal that the library has in stock. (You can consult our A-Z list of journals here). This must be for your own use for research or study. However, we do now offer a copyright fee-paid service for articles which are required for a commercial purpose. We will email the 'electronic photocopy' as a PDF attachment. For more on our e-docs service including information on viewing PDF files read our frequently asked questions here.
The charge to non-members is £5.90 (non-commercial) and £13.55 (commercial) (+VAT if applicable) per article anywhere in the world. Your article will be sent in the form of an email with PDF attachment. We will send you an email with your requested article or a reason for non-supply within 3 working days of receipt of your request. You must, of course, provide us with a valid email address.
Payment for requests is in advance and must be made by credit card. We accept VISA, Mastercard and American Express only.
