Books
Genetics books are kept in the Reading Room at QZ 50. Genetic aspects of specific conditions are kept in that area: eg, genetic skin diseases are at WR 218. Therefore it is best to search the library catalogue for the specific location. There are also reports on genetics in the BMA basement collection.

Some recent books include:
Kingston HM. ABC of clinical genetics 3rd ed. BMJ Books, 2002
BMA location: BMA 1555 . Also available as an e-book (BMA members & staff)1

Peters PG. How safe is safe enough?: obligations to the children of reproductive technology. Oxford Univ. P. 2004
BMA location: W 51

Wilson, GN. Biochemistry & genetics: PreTest self-assessment and review {PreTest series} McGraw Hill
2002
BMA location: Go to the e-book collection (BMA members & staff)

Database resources
eBMJ collected resources: Genetics
Collected resources on genetics from the online British Medical Journal. It lists the most recent BMJ articles (normally with links to the full text in a subject area or speciality), and also links to relevant books and journals from the BMJ Publishing Group.
