BMA/NHS CfH Conference on Information Technology, 1st February 2007 - What's in I.T. for me?

The British Medical Association (BMA) and NHS Connecting for Health (NHS CfH) hosted a joint Conference on 1st February 2007 at the Birmingham NEC. It was extremely well attended with almost 400 delegates attending on the day. The conference considered an overview of technological developments in the NHS and how IT will affect doctors. It included demonstrations, debate and explanations of how to get involved and how IT can benefit patients and clinicians. Speakers included leaders from NHS Connecting for Health, the Department of Health and the BMA.
