The Department of Health published a consultation paper, Pharmacy in England: Building on strengths - delivering the future in August 2008, which could have an impact on dispensing doctor services in England. This briefing paper looks at various aspects of dispensing doctor services including what dispensing doctors do, the benefits for patients, earning figures and the BMA's position on the Pharmacy White Paper.
