Terms of reference
The terms of reference of the Civil and Public Services Committee are: “To consider and act in matters affecting those employed by government departments, their agencies or contractors including those employed as full time or part time prison medical officers.”
Constitution
The constitution of the Civil and Public Services Committee is as follows:
- 3 elected by doctors employed by Government departments, their agencies or contractors in England including those working for the Medical Research Council and in the offices of Regional Directors of Public Health
- 1 elected by doctors employed by Government departments, their agencies or contractors in Scotland
- 1 elected by doctors employed by Government departments, their agencies or contractors in Wales
- 1 elected by doctors employed by Government departments, their agencies or contractors in Northern Ireland
- 2 full time prison medical officers elected by doctors employed by prison services in the UK
- 2 part time prison medical officers elected by doctors employed by prison services in the UK
