Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill

Briefing papers, published in May 2008, on the BMA’s views on issues raised at the committee stage in the House of Commons of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill.

These issues include: embryonic stem cell research, embryo testing and access to licensed treatment, usually referred to as 'welfare of the child'.

The Bill has completed its stages in the House of Lords. The remainder of the committee stage will take place after 2 June.
