Choosing academic medicine: the Annual Conference of Medical Academic Representatives (COMAR)

Friday 16 May 2008, BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP
COMAR is the BMA’s annual conference for doctors employed at higher education institutions and medical charities. This is your opportunity to discuss key issues in clinical academia and participate in interactive sessions which are designed for you to influence national policy on academic training, career progression and pay. The day is designed for you to put forward your views and in doing so help to determine the work of the BMA’s Medical Academic Staff Committee (MASC) in the coming year.

Academics – including trainees – who have a contract with a UK university are encouraged to attend on Friday 16 May 2008.

If you are interested in attending or would like further information please see the MASC frequently asked questions or contact the MASC secretariat at info.masc@bma.org.uk.
