This is the second update from the BMA on the introduction of medical revalidation. Medical revalidation – principles and next steps was published in July 2008 and sets out how revalidation will be implemented across the UK. It is based on proposals in the Government White Paper, Trust, assurance and safety - the regulation of health professionals in the 21st century (February 2007).
This document highlights the key proposals from the CMO's report and relates it to the BMA policy in that area and what actions it is taking.
